flower floating in the air
hope of spring
all that is fair
The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17
flowers are music to my ears
I don’t suffer from depression, grateful I never have, but the weight of compassion can be very straining on the heart. A broken heart is a priceless treasure. Without it, it is impossible to know genuine compassion. A broken heart of compassion makes you reach down into a pit where a perfect stranger might sit, and does more than reach down, it sits in that pit with that person until together they come up.
I thought I’d shed a little light so you might understand where I’m creating and musing from these days. I bid you good news from the pit! …and then a song.
i can hear the music
i can see the flowers
i know the soul friend i sit with will too
I love you, Lord.
You are my strength.
You are my encouragement.
He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.

Making the decision to have a child – it is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body.~Elizabeth Stone
Looking forward to sharing the potting bench my husband is making for me, special request for Mother’s Day. Thank you for the inspiration, Erin (my painted garden).
I can’t seem to visit as often as I used to without getting a little overwhelmed, but you’re all in my thoughts. I hope you’re enjoying this season, dear heart. Every day has its own beauty …when the heart surrenders …when we learn or relearn to pause …and rise above all. Oh, I have so far to go.

For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. ~Isaiah 60:1
The flower in the vase smiles, but no longer laughs.
~Malcolm de Chazal
My beloved has gone to his garden,
To the beds of spices,
To feed his flock in the gardens,
And to gather lilies.
I am my beloved’s,
And my beloved is mine …
~Song of Songs 6:2-3
Dear heart, you’ll always have flowers that laugh.
